Grading permit is an official certificate that is issued by the City Engineer authorizing grading activity as specified by approved plans and specifications.

No person shall conduct any grading, clearing, brushing, and grubbing on natural or existing grade that is preparatory to grading, without first having obtained a grading permit from the City Engineer.

Grading permit is issued at the pre-construction meeting.
