Age-Friendly Action Plan

The City of Oceanside joined the AARP Age-Friendly Network on April 7, 2024. The City is working with the Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity at the San Diego State University Social Policy Institute to develop a 5-year action plan. The City hosted several listening and action planning sessions  to gather community input about needs and priorities that would make Oceanside more livable.  This 5-year action plan was developed based on information gathered during the public outreach.

Paint & Sip

Join us for a festive evening at Heritage Park with our Halloween-themed Paint & Sip! This special 21+ event will feature a guided two-hour painting class led by an instructor, complete with wine, appetizers, and all painting supplies provided.

🎨 Supplies: Canvas, easel, brushes, paint, and apron provided

Schedule:

  • 4:00 pm – Check-in, appetizers & wine service begins

  • 4:30 pm – Painting session starts

  • 6:30 pm – Event ends

📍 Location: Heritage Park (220 Peyri Dr, Oceanside, CA 92058)
🔞 Must be 21 or older to attend. Please bring a valid photo I.D. for check-in.

Parking will be available around the park for event attendees.

Come paint, sip, and enjoy a fun evening with friends in one of Oceanside’s most historic settings!
