Age-Friendly Action Plan

The City of Oceanside joined the AARP Age-Friendly Network on April 7, 2024. The City is working with the Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity at the San Diego State University Social Policy Institute to develop a 5-year action plan. The City hosted several listening and action planning sessions  to gather community input about needs and priorities that would make Oceanside more livable.  This 5-year action plan was developed based on information gathered during the public outreach.

Movie in the Park - "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish"

Join us on June 24th for a heartwarming FREE movie under the stars! We will be screening the movie “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” at John Landes Park!

Starting at 7:00pm, enjoy some family-friendly crafts and games in the park. The movie will begin around 8pm. We suggest arriving by 7:45pm.

Parking will be limited, so we encourage carpooling, walking, biking, or taking transit to the park. Show us your bike, transit ticket, or your GPS walking route for a free prize (while supplies last). Just stop by our booth to redeem your free item.
