We are pleased to announce that effective January 8, 2019, Development Services offers Electronic Plan Submittals.
Electronic Plan Submittals allows applicants to submit plans and documents electronically as an alternative to submitting paper documents. Documents such as applications, drawings, soils reports can now be submitted electronically.
A Box account is required to submit electronically. Setting up a Box is account is easy and free. Sending documents using a Box account allows for large documents to be shared and sent securely from any device to Development Services Permit Technicians.
For a successful submittal, all files submitted electronically must be prepared in accordance with the Construction Coalition PDF Guidelines in order to allow the ease of review in the most efficient practice.
Electronic Plan Submittals can be submitted completely On-Line or In-Person at the Development Services Public Counter.
Submitting Online
Avoid coming down to the public counter and waiting to submit your application. Application submissions can be made electronically via email and you will receive a Box link to upload your required documents.
Development Services Public Counter
Application submissions can be made at the public counter at 300 N Coast Highway, South Building 1st Floor. Files should be submitted with a compact disc or flash drive. This media will be used at the public counter computer in the lobby to upload documents into Box.
